On October 24–25, MUSES DOLL took part in Dolls Fashion Week Shanghai, presented by Douyin (TikTok China).

For this special occasion, MUSES DOLL designer Owen Su brought 13 specially prepared doll fashion looks to Shanghai, showcasing the brand’s approach to fashion, craftsmanship, and design on a miniature scale.

The presentation featured brand-new couture creations, exclusive colorways of selected designs from our archives, and a few early glimpses of what’s to come.

Presented on a runway of rotating platforms, each doll and its carefully composed look came into view as the stage turned, offering a different way to experience the details, silhouettes, and craftsmanship behind our creations.

The event was also a wonderful opportunity to share the world of MUSES DOLL with collectors and fashion enthusiasts in Shanghai.

During Dolls Fashion Week Shanghai, MUSES DOLL co-founder and designer Owen Su was featured in an interview with VOGUE, sharing his journey from collecting limited-edition fashion dolls at the age of 13 to founding MUSES DOLL in 2020.

With a background in couture fashion, Owen has brought his passion for fashion design and doll collecting together through MUSES DOLL.

“For a fashion doll, the runway is where it shines brightest,” Owen shared.

Seeing his creations come to life on the rotating runway was a particularly meaningful moment — bringing together his love of fashion, craftsmanship, and dolls.
