Care, Cleaning & Storage
To preserve the beauty and longevity of your MUSES DOLL, we recommend keeping your doll in a dry, shaded environment and away from direct sunlight. Proper care and storage will help maintain the resin’s finish, color, and overall condition over time.
Daily Care & Storage
Please store your doll in a dry environment and avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, strong UV light, heat, or humidity. For long-term storage, a cool, shaded place is recommended.
To help reduce the possibility of staining, we suggest storing the doll separately from clothing, especially darker or deeply colored garments. Although MUSES DOLL fashions are made with carefully selected fabrics and are often finished with light-colored linings, staining may still occur depending on the fabric, humidity, storage conditions, and the length of time the garment is worn.
For best long-term preservation, we recommend removing clothing before extended storage, or placing a layer of acid-free tissue, soft white cotton, or protective fabric between the doll and the garment.
About Resin Aging
MUSES DOLL is crafted from our proprietary patented SMOOTH-J® resin, developed to offer a refined finish, durability, and improved resistance to yellowing. The material includes antioxidant and UV-resistant additives designed to help slow and reduce the natural aging process of resin. However, all organic materials may naturally age over time. Even with a resin formulated to resist yellowing, subtle changes may gradually occur due to environmental exposure, pigments, colorants, and the natural aging of the material.
With proper care, any natural color change is expected to be gradual and less visually noticeable. To best preserve your doll’s original tone, we recommend shaded storage, limited UV exposure, and avoiding prolonged display in direct sunlight.
Cleaning Minor Marks
For small surface imperfections, such as light stains, color transfer, or minor scuffs, gently clean the area with the included magic sponge. Use light pressure and wipe carefully until the mark is removed. Avoid excessive rubbing, as it may affect the resin surface.
